Each year Dress for Success Perth helps approximately 1,100 women in our local community. Today, we’re asking for your help. Our goal is to raise $19,341. This will contribute towards paying our ongoing expenses including costs such as utilities and insurance for the next six months. 

Like many small organisations, we are struggling. While our income has slowed down to almost zero, our expenses have not. The situation with the COVID-19 pandemic has meant we can no longer generate income through corporate volunteering days, speaking engagements or fee for service referrals for suiting and styling appointments. 

Helping us pay our ongoing costs means so much more than paying for utilities or insurance. It means: 

• Giving a young woman the confidence and self-esteem to break the cycle of unemployment in their family by securing their first job 
• Providing a virtual hub that delivers career support workshops, resume and interview skills advice sessions and mentoring at no cost to the women who need them.
• Creating a space where a woman looks at herself in the mirror, and sees not only a beautiful interview outfit, but the possibility and hope of becoming financially independent in the future.

When a person connects with Dress for Success Perth they also step into a community. A community who sees them, who supports them, and who is committed to helping them thrive in work and in life. 

We are adapting to the changing environment as quickly as we can. Our team is small but determined. Funding our expenses for the next six months, gives us the time we need until we can recommence and provide our full suite of services and generate income.

We know our services are about to become more important than ever. Many more Western Australian women will need our support in overcoming barriers to employment. We are committed to making sure we are still here for them. But we need your help.
